Emmanuel is a 13 year old boy. He lives with his parents  and is 1 of  6 children. Both of his parents are unemployed.

Emmanuel's parents desire him to stay in school but he has been resisting going because he can not go consistently. The family is struggling to keep food on the table.Despite the financial problems his parents are still encouraging him to complete his education because they understand that an education is an important step in breaking the cycle of poverty.
